Chevrolet Performance has just cut the MSRP on three of its most powerful small-block V-8 engines by thousands of dollars. Making this deal even more attractive, the price reductions are permanent. Now is a good time to put the following engines on your next performance shopping list.

LS7 Engine (P/N 19329246)

Probably best remembered as the benchmark powerplant for the Corvette Z06, the high-revving, big-bore LS7 churns out 505 hp at 6,300 rpm and 470 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm.

Immense power output is created largely thanks to formidable airflow capability from cavernous CNC-ported heads and large-volume, straight-passage intake runners. Other L7 features include a forged crankshaft, lightweight titanium connecting rods and friction-coated pistons.

The LS7 requires external oil supply and oil lines, but the rest of the assembly arrives dressed, including the manifold assembly with injectors and electronically controlled throttle body and welded tubular exhaust manifolds.

The LS7 crate engine MSRP† has been reduced by thousands!  MSRP was $17,337, now $14,837.

LS9 Engine (P/N 19260165)

The standard engine in the Z6 Corvette ZR1 is also one of the most powerful and fastest regular-production engines ever offered in a GM car.
Featuring high-rpm-validated lightweight reciprocating parts, including titanium intake valves, the LS9 belts out 638 HP at 6,500 rpm and 604 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,800 rpm. The LS9 produces 90 percent of peak torque all the way from 2,600 to 6,000 rpm.

The LS9 crate engine MSRP† has been reduced by thousands! MSRP was $26,403, now $21,403.

LSX454R Big Block Engine (P/N 19260835)

Built for super-high output and durability, Chevrolet Performance’s powerful crate engine checks out at 776 hp at 7,000 rpm and 649 lb.-ft. of torque at 5,100rpm.

The LSX454R is naturally aspirated, breathing through high-flow LSX DR six-bolt cylinder heads with 313cc intake runners. Adding durability, the bottom end includes a tough LSX Bowtie cylinder block filled with an all-forged rotating assembly. During development, engineers simulated the equivalent of 600 back-to-back drag strip passes on the engine dyno, helping ensure the LSX454R could stand up to years of performance.

The LSX454R crate engine MSRP has been reduced by thousands! MSRP was $21,347,now $16,348.
